NATURAL HEALTHY WEIGHT LOSS by Stephen Lau
Nowadays, almost everybody
wants to lose weight for different reasons. You may want to lose some weight to
enhance your body image; you may want to shed a few pounds to improve your
health; you may want to manage your weight to save money on food, medical bills
and medical insurance. For whatever reasons, weight loss has become has become
not only a fad and fancy but also an integral part of the Western culture,
especially in the United States, where weight loss is a multi-billion dollar
industry.
According to current
research, by the age of 10 nearly 60 percent of girls in the United States are
already on some kind of a diet. That is not surprising at all, given that
obesity has become an epidemic in this country, and weight loss an obsession of
the general public.
In spite of the acute awareness of the need to solve weight problems, the public are losing grounds in the battle of the bulge. In the fight against weight loss, it is so easy to lose everything — your sanity, your health, and your money, except your pounds. That is because you have to fight against the food industry, the weight loss industry, and, the worst enemy, yourself.
Oprah Winfrey once
told People magazine:
“My greatest failure was in believing that the weight loss issue was just about
weight.” She certainly hit the nail
on the head: weight loss is not just about body weight or calories. You need an
all-round approach to weight problems.
1. You need to change your
diet and lifestyle. Eat natural super foods—not their processed counterparts, which are
loaded with additives and chemicals. Food manufacturers make foods more
appetizing (artificially, of course), enticing you to eat more and,
consequently, to gain more. In addition, they generate toxins, which not only
damage your health but also cause eating disorders down the road.
2. You need to remove toxins
accumulated over years of abuse and misuse of foods. Accumulated toxins prevent
efficient elimination. Inefficient elimination means further accumulation of
toxicity and weight gain. Take 12 Steps To A Complete Body Detox to detoxify your body for ultimate weight loss.
3. You need to rejuvenate
your body. Your body is capable of natural healing, if given the opportunity.

Grow your own organic garden, if you are ready to spend a little time.
Looking at the number on the
bathroom scale, counting calories, searching for a fad diet—all these only generate guilt and create
disappointment and frustration further down the road. They never make you lose
weight or solve weight problems. You can never win your battle against the
billion-dollar weight loss industry. You lose everything—your money and your self-respect, except your weight.
From my own experience, I
have maintained my ideal body weight (160 pounds/5’10″) for the past forty
years or so. Healthy weight loss holds the key to effective weight control and
weight management.
All-Round Weight Loss: Everybody wants to lose some weight, some may even want to lose a lot more. Sadly, most of them gain back all the pounds they have lost, and then some. Why is that? Because weight loss is not just about eating less; after all, everybody wants to eat more, not less. Weight loss is about everything. Natural healthy weight loss is all-round, that is, it involves the body, the mind, and the spirit. To illustrate, natural healthy weight loss is also about the thinking mid; it is the thoughts that make you fat, more than anything else. According to Esther and Jerry Hicks' bestseller Money and the Law of Attraction, people not only want the food but also believe that the food will make them fat, and thus have created that which they do not want. Unfortunately, their thoughts "attract" what they do not want, so their bodies respond naturally to the thinking mind, and, as a result, they gain instead of losing weight.
